Eligibility

• Be a high school sophomore or junior by August 2015
• Complete the International Youth Delegate Training Program 
• Complete approved community service projects prior to departure
• Fulfill fundraising requirements
• Adhere to International Youth Friendship and Development Program Standards of Personal

   Conduct and Community Behavior

How to Become a Delegate

• Complete an application with two letters of recommendation
• Complete an interview after application is approved
• Obtain parental or legal guardian consent

Program Requirements

If selected, participants are required to work with the team of delegates and leaders for monthly developmental programs prior to departure. The work will include but is not limited to:
• Educational programs about culture, history, and politics of countries we will visit;
• Collective fundraising work and responsibility;
• Engaging in community service activities; and 
• Mentoring future delegates.
